our spirits are high, and we are continuing to work hard for our clients
For more than half a century, Malone Law has made a meaningful difference in the lives of people injured by negligent health care providers, careless truck drivers and manufacturers of defective products. Guided by intense attention to detail and moving with a sense of urgency in each case, we have earned a reputation for excellence — a reputation that has become our tradition.
Led by Tommy and Adam Malone, pioneers in the field of catastrophic personal injury law, Malone Law has achieved a nationwide reputation for skillfully representing clients in complex injury and wrongful death cases. Our team of dedicated trial lawyers devotes 100 percent of their effort to every client we represent — and we strive daily to make a meaningful difference in their quality of life.
Our founding attorney, Thomas "Tommy" Malone, is a pioneer in Georgia personal injury law. Tommy's legacy rests upon record verdicts and settlements for the seriously injured and those left shattered by a loved one's wrongful death.
Since 2000, Adam, like his father before him, has risen to the top of his profession by achieving record-setting verdicts, being listed in Super Lawyers and affecting positive change from within the legal system. Due to Adam's work, the Georgia Supreme Court struck down as unconstitutional the state's cap of $350,000 on noneconomic damages in medical negligence cases.
Accolades aside, the attorneys at Malone Law agree - doing our absolute best to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others is what drives us every day. We are champions for those who have been injured due to the negligence of others.
At Malone Law, we carefully evaluate each potential case for merit and intentionally limit the number of cases we handle at any one time to ensure that we continue our tradition of excellence with every client we represent.
"Our practice is about making a difference for clients and helping them put their lives back together," says Adam. "If the other side fails to account for the harm they've done, we go to trial. We trust jurors, regular people just like our clients and us, to know what is best and do the right thing more than the insurance companies that delay, deny and deprive people of justice."
Malone Law is known for its willingness to take cases to trial when defendants refuse to accept responsibility for their actions — particularly in situations where death or devastating injuries have been caused by careless commercial trucking companies, sloppy health care and manufacturers of defective products. Tommy secured one of the first verdicts over a million dollars in Georgia history — a $1.2 million verdict in a 1982 jury trial against a trucking company involving the needless death of a 7-year-old girl. Throughout his career, Tommy continued achieving record verdicts, including a recent verdict of over $49 million against two careless trucking companies for causing a severe brain injury to a pre-med college student.
Likewise, Adam has continued this tradition and has broken his father's record verdict in their hometown of Albany with a $24.5 million verdict in a medical negligence case for a 14-year-old football player.
In addition to the many multimillion-dollar recoveries we at Malone Law have obtained for our clients, we take pride in our ability to drive positive change in our community.
An inevitable result of many of the verdicts and settlements we obtain is system change to correct their actions to prevent similar harm from occurring to others in the future.
Our attorneys and staff work diligently to make life better for our clients as well as those in our community.
"Together we've been able to not only make a difference for our clients," says Adam, "but also do our part in helping to make roadways and hospitals safer for everyone."
